Florencia's Biography

A talented actress of both stage and screen, Florencia Lozano was born on December 16 in Princeton, New Jersey. Her father, Eduardo, is an architect and her mother Elizabeth, is a teacher. Florencia and her sisters, Julieta and Paula, grew up in Newton Centre, Massachusetts.

Florencia received a bachelor's degree from the prestigious Brown University in Rhode Island. She then moved to New York City and, after some theater experience, was accepted into the New York University Acting Program, where she earned her master's degree.

Putting her love of theater to good use, Florencia has many regional credits to her name, including roles in Antigone and Hamlet. She also has received accolades for her work in Off Broadway productions, such as Dirty Story and Blood in the Sink.

She won the role of Téa Delgado on ABC's daytime drama One Life to Live in January 1997 and aired on the show until March 2000. She reprised her popular role in May 2002 and was part of the show's historic "Live Week", as well as the location shoot in Hawaii! She has also made guest appearances on primetime, including NBC's critically acclaimed Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

The multi-talented Florencia is also the associate artistic director of the LAByrinth Theater Company. In addition to appearing in LAByrinth productions like Dirty Story and Where's My Money?, she serves as head of the literary department.

Florencia currently resides in New York City.
